About the firm
Most Accountants Serve Everyone.
We Serve Contractors.
There’s a difference, and it shows in the details. We’re contractor accountants. That means we know what a draw schedule is, the difference between a W-2 employee and a 1099 sub, and why retainage tracking matters. We built this firm for the trades, and we only work with the trades.

Christopher Fallon, EA
Founder, Foundations Accounting Services
Chris started Foundations because contractors were getting shortchanged by generic accounting firms. Most firms take everyone, know no industry well, and offshore the work you’d never approve if you saw it. We built something different: a firm that works only with contractors and trade businesses, keeps all work in-house, and treats your finances the way you’d want them treated.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Indian River State College and is a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent, the highest credential the IRS issues to non-attorneys. He’s also certified in QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and Bill.com. These are the tools our clients use every day to run payroll, pay vendors, and see where their money went.
We don’t outsource to overseas teams. We don’t run your books through automated software and call it done. Chris reviews every account. When something’s off, you get a direct call. See what’s included in our services.
Chris is based in Fort Pierce, Florida, and serves contractors across the country. Outside of work, he’s with his family. When he gets a few hours off, he’s on the golf course.

What sets us apart
No Offshoring, Ever
Your books are handled in the US. By us. Not a remote team you’ve never spoken with. We know your account, your clients, and your cash position. That’s only possible when the same person handles your books every month.
Built for the Trades Only
We don’t serve restaurants, retailers, or law firms. We’re contractor accountants, not a generalist firm that happens to take a few construction clients. That focus means we know construction accounting cold: job costing, WIP reports, retainage tracking, draw schedules, and 1099 season.
Proactive, Not Reactive
We don’t just record what happened. We flag what’s coming. Tax planning happens throughout the year, not in a panic during March. If something looks wrong, we tell you before it becomes a problem.
Our tech stack
We use the tools contractors actually use. These three are the core of how we keep your books clean and your payments moving.
QuickBooks Online
Industry standard for cloud bookkeeping. We set it up, keep it accurate, and produce reports you can actually use to run your business and track job profitability.
Gusto
Payroll built for growing businesses. Handles W-2 employees, contractor payments, and direct deposit. No more manual checks, no more missed filings.
Bill.com
Vendor payment platform. Invoices come in, get coded, get approved, get paid. No more paper check chaos or late vendor calls eating up your time.
